BTBS Sophomore Students and Faculty Members Come Together at Coffee–Tea Gathering

Under the guidance of Dr. Şeyma Çağlar Özhan, a warm and engaging coffee–tea event was organized with the sophomore students of the Department of Computer Technologies and Information Systems. The participation of faculty members, including Assoc. Prof. Seyfullah Gökoğlu and Dr. Furkan Aydın, further enriched the gathering. Participants had the opportunity to meet outside the classroom environment, enjoy pleasant conversations, and exchange ideas.

The students expressed that spending time with their instructors was highly motivating for them and emphasized their desire for such social events to be held more frequently. The faculty members also highlighted that these sincere interactions contribute positively to both academic success and the sense of belonging within the department. In this context, the event was regarded as a productive meeting that strengthened student–instructor engagement.
